Super tasty meals & great service! The ambience is also good for you.
They are open for pick up. It was great to have some high quality food I could easily pick up. They even use a free reusable container service where you can return the Tupperware and not have so much trash. Check their website for the daily menu and times.
The appearance is completely deceiving in this case, the Sunday roast was just great! In addition a great service - thank you and gladly again.
Nice atmosphere and service. A bit higher in price, but the quality of the food was great. Only it is very warm and heats up quickly, and the volume is also quite high.
Great atmosphere, nice service and everything from starter to dessert is incredibly delicious! So much better than most of the restaurants in the old town.
Basically good food. The kitchen was cold at noon. Should have known. No information. Left again.
Creative cuisine. Food tasted very good. Fresh ingredients. Portions clearly arranged. Unfortunately I am not full. Service good, ambience good. Menu scarce, additional dishes are on the blackboard, a bit confusing. Price / performance ratio is not quite right. Still can recommend it. Order a table.
There is a clear selection of very different dishes. A little Russian, a little German, a little vegan and a few fish / meat dishes. You can sit in a relaxed atmosphere in the originally designed inner courtyard. The food was delicious and the rosé was good too. We had a nice evening and would love to come back.
Unfortunately an absolute failure. The "beef hip strips" offered on the table with the daily specials turned out to be tough goulash lumps, the gnocchi with chanterelles were absolutely tasteless (I know that there is a dispute about taste, but the dish must first taste like something) and the service was itself overwhelmed with the request for the bill. Maybe a bad day? Hopefully ... otherwise I always enjoyed going there.
The food was really well done. Meat (cutlet) had an excellent taste and was super fried and seasoned. All of the other dishes we tried were also really tasty. Definitely worth a visit.
Very good restaurant in Dresden Neustadt. The menu is very diverse, from traditional German to international dishes. Good and reasonably quick service complete the overall picture. The meals are prepared excellently and taste accordingly. Drinks menu mixed up with more exotic things.
Was only there for a drink. But cozy inner courtyard, where you can sit outside in summer, away from the hustle and bustle of the new town. However, you have to be lucky or make a reservation to get a seat.

very lovely ambience, helpful & friendly people, really good cheesecake, very large portion of käsespätzle
Friendly staff (also on the phone and by email), delicious food and great cakes, cleaner rooms, great and very clean surroundings!
Delicious food and very friendly service. The prices are also quite acceptable. Highly recommended, though it is often quite full (a very good sign by itself)
The nicest waitress (a tall young woman) you can have !!! Carefully and quickly. Thanks for that. Great backyard and delicious food, although the Käsespätzle could have had a little more cheese and less liquid sauce, so only four stars.
The dishes are nicely prepared and are served warm at all times. The chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables particularly appropriate. There you get no trace of the feeling of dining like sardines in a can. The restaurant really has the potential to become my new regular restaurant. Here you get both: friendly and quick waiters.
The beer garden is extremely beautiful and quiet in a courtyard. The food is homemade and an absolute blast. The prices are also very attractive and the staff super nice. An absolute insider tip when you visit Dresden.
Dare to go inside, it looks very alternative from the outside, but when you are inside it turns out to be a special feature. There are only a few dishes on the table and that's a good thing, because the dishes are very tasty. The atmosphere cozy, we were in the garden in the courtyard. Have come here on recommendation and can recommend it. We were lucky to get a seat, reservations are recommended.
Superbad
Great place: great food at fair prices, friendly staff and a gorgeous courtyard in the back.
Overall, everything was good, the food was delicious but a star deduction because the red wine was much too warm. For the second time. The staff is always very friendly and tried hard. After a bit of waiting, we were also offered a table in the courtyard. We hadn't made reservations. Reservation is recommended. If you come by car, you have to look for a parking space in the area.
Good place, nice food
Cozy restaurant with shaded patio. When I went there the patio was all full, but the waitress opened the window next to my table, which was nice. Käse Spätzle was tasty and a good portion. The menu is handwritten on chalkboards, so it might be harder to figure out what to order if you don’t know much German.
Nice and cozy, awesome staff and gorgeous local meals.
Excellent restaurant in a historic building
A great experience! We ate here spontaneously in the early afternoon and were very satisfied. The fixed menu in connection with the daily specials offers a good selection, something for vegetarians can also easily be found. The food is served quickly and tastes great, home-style cooking at a very high level. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. The waiters were very friendly and helpful, with satisfactory answers to all of our questions. We also liked the decor, especially the inner courtyard is certainly wonderful in summer. We will be back definitely!
This is my favorite restaurant in Dresden. I love food, drinks and staff. Whatever you eat, what you drink is delicious. You can clearly see why day and night are crowded. I want you to go and see it.
First things first: The food was very tasty. It was a bit pricy but okay for what you get. It's a small guest room, a bit loud, a bit warm but still kind of cozy. The service wasn't friendly but still helpful enough.
Cosy & warm atmosphere; downside is that they don't have something as Russian as borscht!
Nice and leafy backyard, great selection of traditional and modern food, they always have a vegan option
delicious and quite original pizzas, nice owner :)
Fantastic
We went in with excitement because it seemed very quaint. Unfortunately, it took over 60 minutes for them to bring the food. No one came to our table to give status nor apologize. Waitress was not at all friendly, spoke very little English and was unable to explain what the dishes consisted of. When the food finally arrived, it was average, not to be remembered. It is pricey for what you get. Would not recommend.
Beautiful outdoor seating area and delicious food. If you come at peak times be prepared to wait.
It's a good choice for anyone craving homemade dishes, but not having the time to cook themselves. The atmosphere is relaxed and artsy, prices are reasonable. Creative daily lunch offers for unbeatable price. Accepting credit cards is a huge plus too. Definitely recommend it?
I really liked it, service was lovely and modest. Food was homely and the wines on offer are nice. Overall very good experience. Outside area is particularly magical in summer.
I liked it and I got to try a new dish that I didn’t know before - Pelmeni. It’s a yummy Russian pasta type filled with either meat or in my case veggies (butternut squash). They have an open kitchen where you can take a sneak peak into the making of the food. Always interesting! On weekends it can get busy, so book ahead if you want to avoid a wait. In case you do have to wait, they have a lovely bar which is separate to the restaurant but on the same floor. The only downside of the bar (NOT restaurant) is that smoking is allowed indoors. I will come back for the food for sure.
It's a nice German restaurant, I felt lucky that I found that place thanks to a local friend. Unfortunately they didn't have another meat meal choice for the people who doesn't eat pork. I wish they had. So, better to ask before coming all the way. Still, thanks for their hospitality.
Best Location in town
Just a bit slow serving food but amazing taste! Also a good deal, 19.90 for 2 courses and 24.50 for 3. And 2 courses were already a lot of food... the atmosphere is also great, cosy and quiet.
Really heartwarming German food. Would love to go there often ????
Very good Russian style food. Pelmeni were very tasty, served with an assortment of vegetables it is a satisfying meal. Cosy relaxed atea. Outside looks ggod too in warmer months.
We just had soup and white wine as a starter. But both were Super!
The first place I would recommend to any friend when asked for a great place to eat in Dresden. Never had a less than completely satisfying time.
Friendly staff, cute garden. Food had a decent quality, but was nothing special as stated many times. Don't know why there is Flammkuchen & Käsespätzle on the menu if its supposed to be more "Eastern". But maybe it's a seasonality thing and food is more interesting during another month.
Beautiful decor outside. Food is comes in decent options and is absolutely delicious. Prices are fair.
Really friendly staff in combination with daily menus. Having brunch on sundays there will make your day!
A gastronomical gem with this high level of finesse is rarely to be found. Originally a Russian restaurant, the menu features not only pelmeni and other Russian specialities but also a variety of well chosen seasonal dishes creatively put together. Even traditional recipes are executed to gourmet perfection. I recommend the tranquil garden in the back for its relaxed ambience , although it is easier to book a table inside. Considering the complexity of the well balanced cuisine, I would not be surprised if I found this restaurant in the Michelin guide some day.
